A place for boobs

I made this bikini top for a friend who recently had a reduction and required a boob related gift.
I used Red Heart Cotton Twist and a 4.5 mm needle/hook.
I crocheted a band about 3 quarters the length of the underbust, then picked up and knit about 25 sts for each cup. Every knit row, I made 2 increases in the center (I think 5 times?) then began decreasing at each side until only one stitch was left.
Finished the edges with some single crochet, made some long ties...
And laced it up in the back! This was fun to do. I will probably make myself one to turn into a top.
